1992 saw the launch of the castelo restaurant group when company directors saw the potential for a restaurant in Hong Kong that would cater for needs of the many expats living in the then small former fishing village of Sai Kung. There was also a need to provide a western style dining alternative for local diners. With this in mind he opened Pepperonis, an intimate 20 seat pizza and pasta restaurant.
Pepperonis exceeded everyones expectations and was the inspiration for spreading the idea to other areas of Hong Kong and beyond. Castelos philosophy of offering exceptional quality food combined with impeccable service in a comfortable and friendly environment has proved to be a winning formula. Castelo now boasts a number of popular restaurant brands and venues in both Hong Kong and Vietnam.
